For efficient delivery of oil-free gas or air, a Blackmer gas compressor is the answer. These single-stage compressors are designed to give maximum performance and reliability under the most severe service conditions.

Depending on your gas application, both single and double seal models are available. For most applications, a single seal unit can be used. But, where expensive or hazardous gases are involved, and added contamination control is desired, a double seal model is recomended.

The heart of any compressor is its valve assembly and Blackmer valves are specifically designed for non-lubricated gas applications. With precisely engineered clearances, spring tension and a special finish, these valves seat more positively so more gas is moved with each piston stroke. In addition, Blackmer valves are constructed of special Swedish steel for greater strength, quiet operation, and long life. Both suction and discharge valve assemblies are interchangeable, and can be easily removed for in-field inspection and service.
