Unlike small reciprocating compressors, the SF2-4 Series is designed for continuous operation. The overall design concept is deceptively simple
and has proven to be inherently reliable. With fewer moving
parts, maintenance intervals are reduced and service is simplified.
The lubrication free compression chamber eliminates the possibility of any oil carryover into the compressed air. The scroll compression principle therefore guarantees absolutely oil free, quality air.
To make the SF2-4 Series compressors even more cost-effective, Atlas Copco offers a complete package with an optional integrated dryer. The dryer and compressor are completely integrated within the compressor enclosure, with all interconnecting piping and wiring installed. As a result, you incur no additional engineering costs, while dryer installation costs are eliminated. Floor space requirements are minimal, due to the elimination of an external dryer.
