Air Technologies® is a proud distributor of Deltech® compressed air filters

When you need to filter compressed air, you owe it to yourself to compare the alternatives. When you do, you'll find that nobody offers you greater selection, better performance, or more innovative and beneficial features than Deltech filters.

Deltech filters have earned their position of leadership with superior design, construction, and quality. Deltech filters deliver a higher level of filtration efficiency to keep your operation up and running. Lower pressure drop that reduces air compressor power consumption and lowers your operating costs. Longer element life and unique monitoring capabilities that keep your maintenance costs to a minimum. In all, you get superior performance that acutally saves you money over less costly filters.

The quality of the filters is underscored by the fact that Deltech is the first manufacturer in the compressed air industry to have its entire product line registered under the ISO 9001 Quality System Standard - the most stringent of the ISO 9000 series.

Five Key Factors in Filter Selection:

  1. Type of filter - Understanding the type and volume of contaminants to be removed is the first step in selecting the right filter for a specific application. Deltech's combination filters remove solids, oils, and vapors without the need for multiple filter arrangements.
  2. Filtration efficiency - Efficiency is simply a rating of a filter's ability to remove contaminants.
  3. Pressure drop - The impact of pressure drop is often overlooked in selecting a filter. In Deltech's multistage filter, most particulates and liquid droplets are removed before the coalescing stage. Clogging is reduced, resulting in lower pressure drop and longer element life.
  4. Element life - Element life is determined by pressure drop in coalescing filters, and by saturation in adsorption filters. Deltech multistage filters extend element life by removing most particulates and liquid droplets before the coalescing stage. Fewer element changes mean less downtime and higher productivity, not to mention lower replacement and inventory costs.
  5. Maintenance - In order to prevent failures in air-operated devices, costly downtime, and excessive pressure drop, compressed air filters must be monitored for element replacement. Where element life is determined by pressure drop through the filter, Deltech filters provide differential pressure indicators mounted directly on the filter housing. Where element life is determined by saturation, Deltech filters provide an exclusive color change feature to signal element replacement. Since replacement can be predicted and scheduled in advance, maintenance can be done with little or no interruption of production schedules.
