Air Technologies® offers a wide variety of maintenance and service agreements to suit your individual needs.

By signing one of our service agreements, you - our customer - will take the first, and best, step to protect your valuable investment in pneumatics, air compressor pump units, and air and vacuum pumps.

Pneumatics and vacuum pumps service by the professionals

The services performed under the service agreement are designed to provide you with the highest level of programmed, preventative maintenance services possible for your air compressor pump, cooling and filtration systems, and other industrial filtration products in accordance with factory recommendations combined with the experience of Air Technologies®.

An extensive inspection of all your air compressor pump and filtration systems equipment

The services to be performed during the period of the agreement will consist of standard inspection times to coincide with approximately 2000 hours of machine operation and one or more extensive annual inspection.

As an example of our service agreements, we present a general "Premium" Programmed Maintenance and Service Agreement, used for Atlas Copco "G" Series Oil Flooded Rotary Screw Compressors operating up to 4000 - 8000 hours yearly:

The 2000 Hour Inspections will include:

  • Observe air compressor pump operation and check for oil leaks, unusual noise or vibration and proper load/unload sequence and pressures
  • Correction of any leaks discovered
  • Change oil filter(s)
  • Change air filter(s)
  • Clean oil strainer and scavenge line if necessary
  • Manually operate safety valve
  • Inspect coolers for dirt build-up and blocked passages
  • Check the condition (regarding dust and dirt build-up) of the driving motor air path
  • Lubricate motor bearings according to the manufacturer's recommendations
  • Restart unit, allow to warm up to operating temperature and check all temperature and pressure readings
  • Observation and recording of drive motor operating current, voltage, and temperatures
  • General inspection of the operating environment of the compressor
  • Fill out all necessary service reports and obtain customer's signature to verify completed work
  • Note: If the compressor is using 4000 hour oil, then one (1) oil change will be performed at 4000 hours and one (1) oil change during the Annual Service

The Annual Inspection will include all 2000 hour services plus the following:

  • Change oil
  • Check and test where possible all pneumatics, temperature, and electrical safety devices
  • Clean preseparator assemblies if applicable
  • Rebuild regulator valve and vent valve assembly if applicable
  • Clean or replace blowdown silencer(s)
  • Replace thermistor if applicable
  • Rebuild automatic moisture trap
  • Inspect drive coupling flexible element or check belt condition and tension
  • Thoroughly examine entire unit and correct any deficiencies

  • The highest level of Programmed Maintenance available
  • Equal quarterly billings to help even out maintenance budgets
  • A 10% discount off our regular rates for labor should any additional service be required

Notes:

  • If the air compressor pump has been in operation for nine months or longer and was not subject to routine maintenance, the yearly service will be performed at the first scheduled examination.
  • A tentative service schedule will be established based on the best information available at the time the agreement is written. Adjustments will be made according to operating conditions and/or customer request. If operating conditions change, such as the addition of another shift or installation of additional production equipment, the customer should inform Air Technologies as soon as possible so that we may continue to provide the service required.
  • Should a problem with the compressor(s) arise between the scheduled service intervals, Air Technologies does provide, whenever humanly possible, 24-hour emergency service to minimize down time. See Agreement form for terms and conditions.
